Who we are

In the Summer of 2024, one of our founding members, Dean Isgrigg, decided to see if he could forge his own way in the Electric Backup Power Generation (EPG). Dean graduated State Technical College of Missouri with an associate's degree in Electric Power Generation (EPG). Throughout his time working in the field with all the big manufactures of EPG companies such as Kohler, Cat, Cummins, and Generac, Dean gained a skillset that few are able to compete with. Traveling the country and working on some of the newest variations of both generators for military and civilian use, he put his eyes and hands on some of the latest and greatest technology that the industry had to offer. But he couldn’t do this alone, and he knew that…

You see, the idea behind Central Missouri Power Systems wasn’t just about working on generators and the systems that encompasses them. It was a beginning of life to the end-of-life cycle approach. At CMPS, we want to deliver the product the customer wants and then continue to help that customer through the life cycle of the unit. From the beginning where ground is broke, to the install of a new unit 20 years down the road, we want to be there for the long run. Being able to keep all of our work in house is a huge benefit for the end user. At CMPS, we don’t subcontract out our work, it’s all done in house. This is where Dean needed some help. Putting together a team with a larger-than-life personality and who were experts in their own respective fields was easy.
